Denaliville. We are Denaliville. Capital GMC Buick takes pride in offering the very best in the GMC lineup. If you’re looking for a strong truck but doesn’t lack luxury and features, the upcoming 2019 GMC Sierra Denali is a truck you need to see. Set to arrive later this year, the redesigned 2019 truck is bursting at the seams with incredible upgrades. For the sake of this article, we’re keeping the focus on the Denali trim. The 2019 GMC Sierra Denali offers everything you could possibly need in a truck and so much more.
The Denali Ultimate Package is loaded with amazing features that will be sure to please any driver: sunroof, MultiPro Power Steps, CarbonPro box, and attractive 22” wheels and tires are among the notable additions to the already overwhelming features list. An added Technology package includes HD Surround Vision, Rear Camera Mirror, and 3×7-inch Head-Up Display.
If you aren’t aware of the new features, the HD Surround Vision gives drivers a 360-degree birds-eye view of the vehicle to aid in parking and low-speed maneuvering. The Rear Camera Mirror replaces traditional rearview mirrors with high-res video streaming, improving the field of vision by 300% and eliminating obstructions within the vehicle, like headrests and rear pillars.
Another addition is the Driver Alert Package II, which includes Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Low Speed Forward Auto Braking, Pedestrian Detection, IntelliBeam headlamps, and Following Distance Indicator. Whew. Short of breath when you read that aloud. Basically, the safety features help you make critical decisions if you are too delayed. This, of course, does not replace paying attention when driving, but having features like these help prevent catastrophic mistakes.
The CarbonPro box is a revolutionary new feature for the 2019 GMC Sierra Denali that is sure to impress. Made from glass fibre composite, steel, aluminum, and carbon fibre, there is no question that the truck box will be far stronger than *cough* a competitor’s *cough* aluminum body. The material can absorb dents easier while offering better corrosion resistance. If that’s not enough, it also slims down the overall weight of the truck by 62 pounds. This box feature will be exclusive to the Denali trim.

The GMC Sierra is well-known for its power and capability. The next generation 1500 model is stepping up the game. Under the hood is a powerful 6.2L V8 L87 EcoTec3 engine with 10-speed automatic transmission. Not much is yet known about the new L87 engine, but we’re sure it will be a great successor to the L86 available in the current Sierra.
I’m a fan of the next generation Sierra. The new shape is a welcome upgrade that I can’t wait to see in person. The exterior of the truck offers new aggressive features, setting it apart from the other trucks on the road. The headlamps to the exhaust flow seamlessly and offer an attractive appearance for those who need a truck for work or play. It fits in, yet stands out, on the streets while remaining completely capable on the farm or taking the boat to the lake. Attention to detail was not overlooked. The small details are just as stunning as the obvious. The Denali badging on the tailgate is a nice addition, not afraid to boast its quality from all angles.
Once the new Sierra Denali arrives and we’re done ogling, we’ll take it for a drive around the city. If you see us, give us a wave and a thumbs up!
